Books Being Made Into Movies & MoviePilot
So, have any of you checked out the website, MoviePilot? I have been on it for awhile, but I'm really starting to get into it. It gives up the minute new on upcoming movies. Some haven't even been made yet, but someone is working on a deal. Its a great way to keep up to date with movies, trailers, and other news. I love it!
I thought I would list all the Books to Movies I'm following right now. There are so many, and this isn't even all of them on the site. These are just the ones I'm following!
These are the movies that are in theaters now
Anna Karenina
Life of Pi
Great Expectations
The following are movies that have not been released yet. They have a release date on them on MoviePilot, but sometimes those change (Great Gatsby has already been changed twice), so I won't list the dates
Les Miserables
Safe Haven
The Host
Beautiful Creatures
Oz The Great and Powerful
The Great Gatsby
World War Z
Catching Fire
City of Bones
Odd Thomas
Labor Day
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
Delirium
The Maze Runner
The Reluctant Fundamentalist
Vampire Academy
Thirteen Reasons Why
Divergent
The Girl Who Played With Fire
The Scorpio Races
In the Garden of Beasts
Fifty Shades of Grey
Peter and the Starcatchers
Matched
The Night Circus
Fallen
The Book Thief
Angelfall
The Fault In Our Stars
The Alchemyst--The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel
Before I Fall
If I Stay
So which ones are you excited about? I've read most of these, but there are a few I need to get reading! I'm really excited about all of them, but I'm very interested to see how In the Garden of Beasts turns out. That is a nonfiction story about an US ambassador and his family living in Berlin in 1933. Also The Great Gatsby, since it stars BOTH Leo DiCaprio and Tobey Maguire!
Week Long Read A Thon
I haven't done a read a thon, in like, forever! I wanted to get a lot of reading done this week, anyways, so here we go! Head over to Book Drunkard to sign up!
Here's what I'd like to get done reading this week
Heart of the Matter by Emily Giffin
Room by Emma Donoghue
Daimon by Jennifer L Armentrout
Vanquished by Nancy Holder and Debbie Vigue
Echo by Alyson Noel
Once by Anna Carey
Blood Promise by Richelle Mead
Insurgent by Veronica Roth
The Lost Files by Pittacus Lore
Outpost by Ann Aguirre
This is an ambitious list, especially considering I really need to re-read Divergent before I can Insurgent, but crossing my fingers!

Touch #4
Synopsis
High school junior Camelia thought her powers of psychometry only gave her the ability to sense the future through touch. But now she’s started to hear voices. Mean voices. Berating her, telling her how ugly she is, and that she’d be better off dead. It’s a troubling development that has Camelia terrified for her mental stability, especially since her deranged aunt with a suicidal history just moved into the family house. More torturing, ex-boyfriend Ben, who has similar psychometric abilities, has been spending more time with their classmate Alejandra, even as her own feelings for Adam grow stronger. Still, the bond between Camelia and Ben is palpable.
With the line between right and wrong fraying, Camelia turns to pottery to get a grasp on her emotions. She begins sculpting a beautiful figure skater, only to receive frightening premonitions that someone’s in danger. But who is the victim? And how can Camelia help them when she is on the brink of losing her own sanity?
My 2 cents
I absolutely love these books! This book is the 4th book in the series, and its just as good as the last 3, if not better! This series reminds me a little of the Body Finder series, so if you like that series, you will like this!
This book was full of suspense, just the way I like it! I could not put it down, I started it last night at about 5:00, took a break around 6:30 for supper, then went back to reading until I finished! There is also a lot of love angst--Camelia's first love, Ben, is trying to get some distance from her. Camelia is really not all right with that, but she's trying to cope. It reminds me a little of New Moon, only she's not nearly as depressed as Bella was. But of course, there is a guy waiting in the wings for Camelia, Ben's former best friend, Adam.
Camelia deals with a lot in this book: Ben, Adam, her aunt who has the same ability as Camelia, but has gone mentally unstable, and Camelia's best friend, Kimmie. Camelia and Kimmie also have some issues in this story, which is rotten timing for Camelia, as she's dealing with horrible nightmares, crazy visions that make her black out, and worry over her aunt. I really loved all the drama, and was able to really connect with Camelia through all of it. She is an amazing character!
Overall, this book is just amazing, and I can't find really any negative criticism to give at all! 5 stars!
