Waiting on Wednesday #5

Waiting on Wednesday is put on by Breaking the Spine.  It spotlights upcoming releases we are waiting on!

This week's Waiting on Wednesday is The Serpent's Shadow by Rick Riordan

This is the 3rd installment of the Kane Chronicles.  Sadie and Carter Kane are trying to save the world from Apophis, the chaos snake.  These books focus on Egyptian mythology instead of the normal greek like the Percy Jackson books.  And I have to say I enjoy the Kane Chronicles even more!

What book are you waiting on?

  1. I haven't read the Kane Chronicles yet.. I think everytime I see covers such as this all I think is.. This is like Eragon. Which is totally untrue and stupid, but I can't help myself. I should probably read these novels..

    1. LOL that's funny! Yeah, these are nothing like Eragon...except maybe they are fantasy! I hope you get a chance to read them!

  2. I haven't read these yet either. But the cover is great, and I'm sure, when I get around to it, it will be a good read.

  3. I've read (and owned book 1), and I've read part of book two... been waiting for this to come out since the SECOND it was announced and I've always loved all of Rick Riordan's books.... especially since I know The Mark Of Athena is coming out soon. Great pick!
